Contract 6 — Subject Contract
You sign one sentence before payment clears.

Every customer signs a one-line subject string in the form “[Name] on [exact subject phrase].” That string is the LLM query we’re optimizing you to answer — it locks at signing and cannot be silently swapped. Without it, the scoring engine drifts and the Authority Page can’t pick a niche to dominate.

Accountability ladder
We don’t refund. We ship a documented day 60 / 75 / 90.

We sell inputs (artifacts, schema, citations, distribution). We don’t control whether an LLM cites you, so we don’t promise a refund tied to a number we don’t own. We replace the false promise with a real cadence:

Pricing pages drift toward theater. These are the anti-theater rules we hold ourselves to — if you ever see one of these on Guest Engine, it’s a bug:

  • No “premium” without a definition — we name the artifact, surface, or cadence.
  • No priority placebos — we don’t charge for “priority” on work that’s already prioritized.
  • No departments that don’t exist — there is no “MitL ops” team behind a curtain.
  • No communities that haven’t formed — we don’t sell a Discord nobody’s in yet.
  • No feature-bundle tiers — every tier sells velocity toward the same outcome.
  • No depowered lower tiers — Member isn’t VIP with features turned off.
  • No promising LLM outputs — we sell inputs, we measure outputs, we never promise them.

What’s a Distribution Sprint?
After your appearance, we auto-publish your clips and posts to your LinkedIn, X, and Threads — one weekday post per channel for the length of your sprint. You don’t lift a finger.
What’s Story Time sponsorship?
Members and above get an AI digital twin that lives in our character network. We weave you into Story Time segments on the show — the moments between conversations — so your character (and your message) shows up in front of the audience while the show is live. Think of it as a sponsorship slot built around you, not an ad-break interruption.
Can my membership credit toward launching my own show?
Yes. A portion of every monthly fee credits toward the first month of your own show on the Mornings in the Lab network if you decide to launch one. Minimum 3-month show commitment to apply the credit. We’d rather have you home than sending you out.
What’s Authority Reach?
You tell Sophia who you want to reach. She searches 4 million podcasts, scores the matches, and drafts personalized pitches that reference real recent episodes of each show. You review, send from your own Gmail, and replies come back to you. Every external appearance gets added to your Authority Page automatically.
Why is the Authority Page the differentiator?
Cold pitching without proof is spray and pray. Pitches with your indexed, permanent Authority Page as the credential get reply rates that look nothing like cold email. You’re not asking for a meeting. You’re sending a host the page that already proves you belong on their show.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes. Upgrade any time, prorated. Downgrade or cancel from your dashboard. We don’t lock you in.
What if I just want to try the show?
Start with Single Appearance. The 14-day Sprint and the permanent Authority Page are yours forever. If it works, upgrade to Member from your dashboard.
Do I need to have appeared on MITL before I can pitch?
Yes. Pitches are tied to your Authority Page — without it, the pitch has nothing to point at. Book a Single Appearance first (or join VIP for a quarterly produced appearance), then your Authority Reach pitches start sending.
Do you refund?
No, and we’re honest about why: we sell inputs (artifacts, schema, citations, distribution), and the LLM’s decision to cite you is not something we control. Refunding a number we don’t own would be theater. Instead, every recurring tier gets a documented day-60 diagnostic, day-75 re-scope, and day-90 written audit. Yes. Additional produced appearances book at the $297 member rate (3-month minimum) for any tier — the $497 Single Appearance price is the on-ramp; everything recurring is at Member or VIP economics.
Where do my pitches send from?
Your own Gmail account, connected via OAuth. Replies route to you, not to MITL. We’re the platform, you’re the sender.
Is X / Twitter included in Sprint?
Yes. We absorb the platform fees. Your sprint posts to LinkedIn, X, and Threads.
